Frustration-cakes

I don't litter. But apparently the city of Baltimore thinks I do. They're also terribly late with their violation notices.

I guess what must have happened is that some sort of mail or reciept of mine flew out of my purse or car and someone working for the city found it, saw my name and decided, let's fine her! The violation date is 4/10, the due date, 5/10. Um, it's 5/26 today and I only just got the notice. Thank goodness the envelope is postmarked because they say they will triple the fine if it's late. But I will probably...have to go to court for this? Of course, it's Friday when I get this so I can't do anything about it until Monday. No, wait, TUESDAY, because Monday is a holiday. WTF city? First my parking ticket, now this. The latter I take responsibility for, but this one? Now am I supposed to take time off from work to take care of this? It's $150 fine. That's substantial for me. Certainly not the end of the world, but Christ almighty nonetheless.
