Live from the Greatest City in America*
Jim and I have moved into the new digs, and boy oh boy, this apartment (with the exception of the kitchen) is definitely "spacious" as advertised if not even more so. A brief photo tour follows:
This here is the bedroom. How does one describe the size? I like to say that it is big enough to fit six queen-sized beds with room to spare. Who else is thinking slumber party?

The living room is almost the same size, although just a little smaller because they had to carve out a kitchen somewhere in that space. (Our apartment is part of what was probably once a large townhome for Baltimore's rich.)

Our bathroom is also pretty big, although not well lit. A strange feature? The book shelf in the bedroom opens up into the bathroom.

And here is the teeny-tiny kitchen:

And to end the tour, a view from the windows in our bedroom.

This is one angle, and if you can see that little statue rising up in the distance, that is the George Washington Monument (Baltimore-style). Here is a close-up of Mr. G:

And in conclusion, here is the other view--my favorite view from the apartment during the day:

Tada! Etc.
